  1. I wonder which one of these 9 models inspired you most. It would be interesting to see how your design was influenced by it.

  2. They all inspired my model. I believe that I was influenced by them because my design contains most of the conceptual ideas I intended to capture in the 9 models. I know that I didn't explain much of it verbally I've always been better visually. I will work on developing my skills explaining my work from now on. Also I want to Thank you for all of your advice. you were an amazing critic and thanks for not being too hard on me. I hope you can still follow my work from here on. It would be great if you could comment on my works and give me advice from things you've experienced as an Architect in the field. I am very pleased with all of the help and It has helped me alot. 4. Hello, Abraham. Thank you for your post and your kind words. Being an Architect is also about being able to convey your ideas to others. As long as you tell the whole story, I think that it doesn't matter if this is done in sketches, drawings, models or words. So yes, try to develop your skills where you feel you need to, but don't give up what you are already good at or what you like to do.

Your final design is a very sculptural one with powerful ideas embedded in it and I think that this is something that you carried successfully from your concept models. Seashells btw are complicated yet amazing examples of natural architecture and your choice to explore such a form was definitely a daring decision - bravo for trying because I am sure that this must have caused you some extra problems while designing a building for human use.

A note on 'hard' (but not harsh) criticism: I know how students don't appreciate it, but if this is honest, constructive, well intended and fair then I think that they can only gain from it. After all, collaborating and exchanging ideas with others is an integral part of designing and building.

Not familiar (yet) with Twitter - this is something to add on my 'things to do' list. Will stay in touch. Good luck with everything - Phanos.
